What are Dental Stem Cells?

Did you know that our teeth are the most natural and noninvasive source of stem cells? Dental stem cells are easy to retrieve and affordable to store. As of today, there are 3 different areas stem cells that can be harvested from or around a tooth. They can be harvested form the dental pulp, apical papilla and the periodontal ligament. Each have their own unique applications in the regenerative medicine field.
